When you are a dog breeder, you are suppose to improve the breed. I did not do that. I just created the Puppy Apocalypse. When you bring dogs together to mate, you should have in mind a particular trait that you want to pass on.
Now the pups bred are awesome. Sure I almost was utterly destroyed trying to keep them alive after dealing with their birth but they are all doing just super. They all have great lives.
It would be nice if the dogs would find the remote on a command. Sure they can fetch a ball or stick but how about a stupid remote control. Sure I could probably spend hours training these dogs to find a remote and there is probably a good chance I may be successful. The thing is each of the Pups of Doom as soon as they could walk decently would chase a ball. That trait was bred into the breed. How do you get a retriever to go beyond that and add finding electronics?
